Techno
Fab Manufacturing Ltd, traditionally a fabrication company,
has launched Multi-Ad, a display system which can display
upto 16 advertisements at one go. This one-of-a-kind, totally automated,
space-saving display system has been patented in India by Techno
Fab Manufacturing Ltd.
This unit will have various panels with advertisements on them
and the panels keep turning around, stopping for a particular duration,
allowing the advertisements to be displayed in a full stretch of
180 degrees, before it starts moving again. According to P.S.
Singhania, the Director of the company, this product was conceptualised
five years ago, but was only launched recently as they were awaiting
patent approval.
Multi-Ad
has received a good response from several Ad agencies, as it is
space saving and cost effective. Its like putting in 16 ads, as
compared to one in a single hoarding. The company is positioning
it as a good display tool at airports, railway stations, highways,
rooftops, showrooms, supermarkets, hotels and restaurants, theatres
and exhibition halls, petrol bunks etc.... typically where space
is at a premium. The company is also targetting corporates, who
can use them as display boards placed at the Office reception, with
relevant messaging.
The
system also has a audio system incorporated in it, with electronic
programming. The system switches on/off automatically, depending
on the clients' needs and also runs the appropriate audio messages.
The company is working out strategies to use existing sites with
several Ad agencies and prominent hoarding companies, and is also
planning to create its own sites. To start with, the hoarding displays
will be leased out. The company plans to sell these systems to the
corporates.
According to P.S.Singhania, this product has had a good reception
in Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata, Bangalore and even more so in Chennai,
as Chennai is strong on the hoardings media. Singhania added that
this display system may, over a period of time, replace some of
the regular hoardings because of its inherent advantages.
