One of the oldest associations in the country, the Motor Vehicles and Allied Industries Association (MV & AIA) was founded in 1926.  It represents manufacturers and dealers of automobiles and automobile ancillaries, oil companies, tyre manufacturers and dealers, insurance and hire purchase companies, road transport operators and other organisations connected with the automobile and road transport industry.  Having completed 75 years on 23rd April 2001, the association celebrated its Platinum Jubilee earlier this year.
