PENTAMEDIA GRAPHICS

Global No. 3 for animation pictures, the Rs. 389 crore Pentamedia Graphics (formerly Pentafour Software & Exports) is making slick digital entertainment a reality in the country. A number of assignments for Indian films (Jeans, Avvai Shanmughi, Padaiyappa and Pyar Tho Hona Hi Tha) and foreign films have been received well. Pentamedia's own production Sinbad - Beyond the Veil of Mists, was screened in 1999. This film brought real-time 3D animation to films for the first time. Pentamedia Graphics has also ventured into Internet broadcasting. Its website www.numtv.com ('num' in Tamil means 'our') is a multi-lingual entertainment source which is the first internet live broadcasting TV in India.
