SBOA MATRICULATION AND HIGHER SECONDARY SCHOOL

"Educate and Illuminate" is the motto of the The State Bank of India Officer's Association Educational Trust. The SBOA Matriculation and Higher Secondary School is managed by the trust.

The school was started in June 1983, and it aims at providing comprehensive education to develop the character and personality of each pupil. The school was established for the benefit of the bank officer's children and to cater to the student's need for a school with matriculation syllabus.

DON BOSCO MATRICULATION AND HIGHER SECONDARY SCHOOL

Don Bosco Matriculation Higher Secondary School, Egmore, was founded in the year 1959. The school is run by the Salesians of Don Bosco. John Bosco, (declared a saint by the Catholic Church), founded the Salesians Society. He called his educational project, "The Preventive System". It is based entirely on Reason, Religion and above all on Kindness.

The school aims at developing the character and personality of each pupil. This is a minority school meant for Catholics, but it also admits other children irrespective of caste and creed.
