As
a city-bred girl, was it difficult for you to portray a tribal girl
in Malli ?
Santosh Sivan Uncle took me on a half day
trip to a tribal village in Mudumalai forests. I observed their
habits, expressions and stayed with them. It gave me some idea on
tribal living.
The shooting of Malli.
What was the experience like ?
It was total fun. The film was finished in 13 days.
Every day after the shooting, I used to play with my co-child artist.
How did you grasp what
was required of the acting scenes and dialogue?
Santosh uncle used to explain to me the scenes
and the dialogue once. Then I would work on the scene.
How
did you feel when you received the national award from the President?
I was so happy and excited. I was sitting next
to Mammooty uncle (Malayalam superstar), who congratulated
me.
How do you manage studies
and shooting?
Malli's shooting took place during
my school holidays. Since I am also a good student, I manage both.
What do you want to become
in life?
I want to become a Doctor.
