Maha Beauty Parlour, started in 1991, by Mahalakshmi
Kamalakannan, offers the latest beauty facilities like Electrolysis
and Vacuum Suction. She was always interested in make up as she
hails from a film background. Maha takes care of all beauty
needs of a woman from head to toe. Pimple treatment, perming, ear
piercing, wart removal, are all done here.
Their client list includes film actresses, college girls, working
women and housewives of all ages. They also have the Maha Beauty
Training Institute, (approved by Government of Tamilnadu), which
offers:
Diploma in Beautician-cum-Hairdresser and
electrical equipment handling
Diploma in Cosmetics preparation
Students from all over India and abroad study here. They also get
hostel facilities and good training exposure. They have three tracks
to complete the courses.
Normal Track:3 months Medium Track:2 months Fast Track: 1 month
The Government of Tamilnadu conducts the examinations. And the certificates
are given by the Institute and Government of Tamilnadu.
