Svelte, very pretty
But Medha is no new face. She has been around for some time
now, doing commercials and print ads that have shot her into the
limelight. She aspires to be the next Miss Universe and looking
at the way she is going, that does seem likely. For today though,
she shares time with us, in an extremely interesting conversation...

Where are you from? I
am from Chennai. Very much a Chennai girl.
Education?
I studied for a few years in Church Park, passed out of Adarsh
Vidyalaya and am now doing my first year B.B.A. in Ethiraj.
Motivation to be a model? I
always wanted to be one. It just happened. There was no planning as
such. I have been there for 3 years now and it really is good fun,
but at the same time, very hard work.
Done anything spectacular? Awards?
My life has been spectacular and I am proud
of it. I do plenty of stuff on TV. Well the awards I've won... You
want the whole list... Only the best
ones!

Regularly into discs?
I call myself a party animal. Even last night
I was out. I love to go out with my friends and have fun. I basically
like to enjoy life.
Media Attention. Enjoyment or a nuisance?
I love it. I mean, who wouldn't. People can tell me out in a crowd.
It's a great feeling and I guess it comes as a part of being someone
who is good-looking. I am proud of my achievements and myself.
How do you maintain your standards?
Right now, my mom takes care of that. She enquires
and does a lot of groundwork before I do anything. She is my mentor
and I trust that she knows what is best for me.
Academics?
Always been a topper. I passed out of school with 89%.
Balancing your personal and professional life?
I do that quite well. I need my family. I need to spend time with
them. They have been a great source of strength and support throughout.
I try to find time to be with them, though its tough. Advice
to budding Models.
Believe in yourself.
