BONDA

Ingredients

 Black gram 

 2 cups

 Coconut 

 8 thin slices

 Ginger 

 A small piece

 Green chillies 

 3 pieces

 Salt 

 1 teaspoon

 Oil

 500 ml for frying


Procedure

  • Soak black gram in water for about 45 minutes. Drain off water.
  • Grind it in a mixer until a thick paste is obtained.
  • Add coconut slices, chopped ginger, chopped curry leaves and salt.
  • Shape into small balls and deep fry in oil till golden brown.

Serve hot with chutney / sambar. A crunchy evening snack.
