The “COMET” is a tile based modular partition system which has been introduced after a thoughtful study of the requirements of user’s, space planners and designers. It is a highly flexible system and provides a great deal of options in choice of colours, tiles(Pre-laminated, fabric, white-board or glass).

The Smoothly curved top trims and matching PDC Aluminium caps, give the system an international appeal .

The wire – management system is exquisite and highly accommodative, allowing wires / cables to run vertically or horizontally within the partition at will and electrical / data sockets can be provided anywhere over the facia-tiles without being confined to raceways.

Specifications:

1. Partition Thickness – 70mm
2. Framework construction – Aluminium Extrusions

The Framework is made of several panels of various widths ranging from 450mm to 1050mm, formed together to achieve the required length of partition. The right angle turns are achieved by using a 70mm sq. connector  which can have 2 way, 3 way or 4 way connections. Each panel is independent and is formed by screwing vertical and horizontal sections together.

The  Panels are joined to each other by nut / bolt arrangement. Every panel is provided with 2 floor – level adjusters.

The vertical, horizontal and connectors have slots at various points to carry electrical / data cables through the partition systems and the same can be run to any point from a given point. Therefore , it provides for an efficient universal wire-management system.

The height of the partitions vary from 750mm to 1800mm, depending on individual requirement.

The Aluminium sections are powder coated to colour of choice. Top / Side trims with PDC Aluminium caps are provided at the end verticals and top horizontals to give a neat rounded finish.

3. Facia tiles

The  Aluminium frame work has provision to fix “tiles” on both sides of 9mm thickness. These are strongly clipped on to the framework using ABS Clips. The tiles can be replaced with other optional tiles depending on future requirements and changes.

The choice of tiles are:

1. Pre laminated particle board.
2. Write and wipe-white board.
3. MDF board with steel sheet and fabric cover as magnetic “Pin-up” board.
4. Glass can be used instead of the above tiles whenever required, by using an additional aluminium extrusion to hold the same

These Partitions have provisions to hold metal (2mm-powder coated) cantilever brackets, on to which table-tops can be fitted to make work-stations . Various types of storage can be supplied and overhead storage units can be mounted on to the Partitions.
