INDIA
A
mural imprinted with motifs of trees, school of fish and other life
forms. This is the façade of the gallery - Little India.
Miniature paintings from Rajasthan (called Pichvais), handicrafts
and other objects d'art made from rosewood, sandalwood and white
wood adorn the shelves. The sculpture is exquisitely carved by skilled
artisans and is a pleasing sight to the discerning eye.
Bronze and brass items, artifacts and figurines of gold and silver
are available too. C.J. Dhadda - the man behind the venture,
personally handpicks all artifacts during his travels all over India.
Basically a jeweller, his first love remains jewellery. A range
of precious, semi precious stones, diamonds and studded jewellery
lines the glassed showcases.
Check out the miniature boxes, antique jewellery and the rings
carved out of gold and silver.
