D.A.V. SENIOR SECONDARY SCHOOL

Established in 1970 by The Arya Samaj (Central) Chennai, D.A.V. Senior Secondary School, Gopalapuram, is managed by the Tamil Nadu Arya Samaj Educational Societies. The school is one among its seven branches in the city.

Public examination results have always been good at D.A.V. In the last 11 years, as many as 232 of its students have joined the Indian Institute of Technology.

Moral Education and Yoga are an intrinsic part of the curriculum. The school at Gopalapuram has the distinction of having had seven All India Best NCC Cadets among its students.

GOOD SHEPHERD CONVENT MATRICULATION AND HIGHER SECONDARY SCHOOL

The society of the Good Shepherd Sisters was founded by St Mary Euphrasia in France in 1835. By the time of her death on April the 24th of 1868, she had founded 110 Convents in 68 countries including one in India in 1854. Good Shepherd School was started in Chennai in 1925.

The school is primarily meant for Catholics and thereafter for the other communities. The school aims at the total development of each student in his/her uniqueness so that s/he becomes intellectually alert, emotionally balanced, morally sound, spiritually oriented, socially committed and culturally enriched.
