Walk into MRF's corporate office and you cannot miss the artificial 'Ficus' tree that is 35 feet tall and 30 feet wide. The tree was made to order by Art Plants, one of the most well known manufacturers of artificial plants and trees in India.

The market leader in the city since its inception in 1990, Art Plants is the brainchild of Ramani Joseph, who holds a Diploma in Floristry from London. Though she did not possess the technical know how, she developed her own technique in making artificial plants and trees. She spends hours studying natural plants and trees and this explains the 'real' look of products from Art Plants.

The range includes artificial bushes and plants (in both stem and basket arrangements), trees and creepers. New varieties are added regularly. Bonsais are a favourite here. Check out the 10-inch Maple Green, Lera and Ivy Bonsais.

Art Trees are made to order and all that is needed is a picture of the tree that the customer wants to be replicated. Stems of natural wood crafted by hand are a speciality of Art Plants.
