It is a camp specifically for the children to kill out their summer time in enduring atmosphere.

Courtesy Project-X, which backs with its creativity camp for the kids? Shama Shroff heads the 12-day summer camp kicked off by the Andhra Social and Cultural Association.

The camp focuses on training children in art, craft, dance, personality development, communication skills and social etiquette. One of the unique qualities of the camp is that the organizers will not conduct any competitions among children. The camp only aims to help children creatively.

It might have been sweltering outside, but the kids who attended the camp on the first day did not mind. While some of them came cheerfully clinging to their mothers, the less adventurous ones did not mind throwing a tantrum or two. But given a choice between books and the camp, the kids preferred the latter.

The camp, which mainly focuses on creative, facilitates the kids to develop their creative instincts.  The organizers have emphasized this aspect as throughout the year, children are under a lot of pressure due to homework, exams and academics. This makes them move towards television and computer. In the bargain the child’s creative instincts gets lost somewhere along the way.

One of the main schedules of the camp is the art class, where children are asked to make colourful bags.
