Not to worry about current
Inflation rate says, RBI
RBI said today, that it was comfortable with the current inflation
rate, which crossed the
4 per cent mark; keeping a close watch on oil prices and the impact
of drought on the economy he said, "We will wait and see how
the oil prices behave and also observe the drought situation. We
should, however, not worry about the situation."
For the first time, this fiscal, Inflation touched 4.42 per cent,
the highest in financial year 2003, as a result of increasing prices
across a wide range of products, Including:
Petrol, Diesel and manufactured products.
